Stacking Rings Workshop

Level- Beginner

Time - 3 hours

Size- up to 4 people

Price- £70

Course outline- Make 1 copper practise ring and 3 silver stacking rings that you make from scratch and can take home with you. Learn different techniques including, hammering, sawing, soldering and finishing. Small class sizes allow plenty of hands on help and supervision as needed.

Spinner Ring

Level- Begginer

Time- 3 1/2 hours Size

Size- up to 4 people

Price- £75

Course Outline- Make a wide band copper practise ring then move onto the sterling silver spinner ring. Here you learn how to texture the silver, and personalise your ring design. You learn techniques including, hammering, rolling, soldering, sawing, polishing and finishing. You’ll leave with a lovely finished eco sterling silver spinner ring along with your copper practise ring. No previous experience required.

Bangle

Level- Beginner or Intermediate 

Time- 3 hours

Size- up to 4 people

Price- £85 (beginner) the intermediate level class has price options depending on the style of bangle you chose to make, please contact us for details.

Course Outline- Make a practise bangle in copper first. Getting and introduction to the techniques we will use. Then you can design and make your sterling silver bangle. Techniques taught include, hammering, rolling, soldering, sawing, polishing and finishing. If time allows you can make an individual charm to go onto your bangle.

At the end of the class you will leave with both the finished copper and the sterling silver bangles.

Hoop Earring

Level- Beginner

Time- 3 hours

Size- up to 4 people

Price- £65

Course Outline- We make 2 pairs of Sterling Silver hoop earrings on this course. The first pair is a simple continuous loop hoop that tucks into itself, we add an interchangeable pair of charms that can be added onto this pair of earrings to change them up, getting up to 3 different designs from the one pair of hoops. The second pair of hoops require us to learn soldering techniques as we solder a wide band of silver onto a pin stud to make a chunky hoop that’s fitted onto your ears via stud fittings. The wide band hoop can be personalised to your design and finish.

You’ll leave with both pairs and at least one set of charms. 

 

Stud & Dangly Earrings Workshop

Level- Beginner

Time- 3 hours

Size- up to 4 people

Price-  £65

Course Outline- Make and take home a pair of stud and a pair of dangly earrings.  Design and cut out of sheet sterling silver both pairs of earrings before soldering one pair onto a stud pin, and the other attaching to your handmade dangly earring hooks. Learn techniques including soldering, sawing, hammering, rolling, filing finishing and polishing.    

  

Pendant Necklace Workshop

Level- Beginner

Time-3 hours

Size- up to 4 people

Price- £70

Course Outline- Hand cut a design out of sterling silver sheet. Whether you love elephants or cats, art deco or jigsaw pieces, you can bring your own design or use one provided by the studio to make your 2d pendant. The course includes techniques including sawing (which requires some hand strength and grip), hammering, soldering, texturing, filing and finishing. Your design once finished will be hung from an 18” sterling silver chain. (Other lengths and styles of chain available but may incurr additional cost) that you can wear and take home with pride.

Sea Glass Ring or Pendant Setting

Level- Intermediate 

Time- 3-4 hours

Size- up to 3 people

Price- £85

Course Outline- Learn to set a piece of sea glass from a wide range of choices provided. You can make it into a pendant necklace or a ring. All silver and sea glass provided. If you do have a special piece of sea glass you’d like to use, please message me ahead of time to ensure that its suitable for this workshop. Techniques used include, soldering, texturing, annealing, polishing and finishing.

You’ll leave with a unique beautifully set piece of jewellery. Book online or via contact form.

 

Semi-Precious Stone Ring or Pendant Setting Workshop

Level- Intermediate

Time- 3-4 hours

Size- up to 3 people

Price- £90

Course Outline- Learn to set a semi-precious stone from a wide range of choices provided. You can make it into a pendant necklace or a ring. All the silver, tools and a range of stones will be provided. If you do have a special stone already, that you’d like to use, please message me ahead of time to ensure that its suitable for this workshop. Techniques used include, soldering, texturing, annealing, polishing and finishing.

You’ll leave with a unique beautifully set piece of jewellery.

Please note- A range of semi-precious round & oval cabochon stones will be available to choose from. Should you have a particular stone or size of stone that you’d like to set please order it ahead of time (there will be an extra fee for the cost of the stone).

Full Day Workshop

Level- Beginner (in the morning and will progress to an intermediate level class in the afternoon).

Time- 9.30am to 4.30pm (approx) with an hours break for lunch. There are 3 lovely cafes in the village you can buy lunch from (I recommend booking as they do get busy) or you can bring sandwiches and eat in the studio. Lunch is not provided.

Size- Up to 4 people

Price- £140 

Course Outine-

Morning- choose from making stacking rings (1 copper, 2 sterling silver) or a bangle. Learn soldering, texturing and finishing. See above individual class details.

Afternoon- choose from making a sea glass ring or pendant necklace or a semi-precious ring or pendant.

You’ll leave with all the lovely pieces that you have made throughout the day. Please allow some flexibility for finish time depending on how we progress through the day.
