Silver Bangle - Beginners Workshop

This is a beginners level class, that requires no previous silversmithing experience. You will be taught to make and personalise a sterling silver bangle, which you may then take home with you at the end of the lesson.

The workshop is 3 hours long -tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided during the session.

The Workshop will provide all the tools, materials, training and techniques to successfully finish your bangle. The techniques taught will include soldering, stamping, texturing, sawing, filing, finishing and polishing. The materials provided will include  copper to make a practise bangle, and sterling silver to make your bangle, and 1 charm. Should you want to embellish the bangle  or need more silver, additional metals can be supplied at an additional charge on the day (usually between £3-£10).

Important Information- Please ensure that long hair is tied back. That you wear old clothes or bring an apron and that you do not have dangly sleeves etc. We will be using flames and tools and so practical sensible clothing is best!
